NOTICE OF PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE BYLAWS OF

THE SAN FRANCISCO URBAN FORESTRY COUNCIL

TO BE ACTED UPON AT THE REGULAR MEETING OF JANUARY 25, 2008, 10:00 A.M.

CITY HALL, ROOM 400

 

This notice is issued pursuant to Article XI – Amendment of Bylaws of the Bylaws of the San Francisco Urban Forestry Council requiring circulation of proposed amendments in writing to all Council Members and noticed to the public at least ten (10) days prior to such meeting.  The Urban Forestry Council will discuss and vote on amending the meeting location and schedule for the Planning and Funding Committee.  The following section is proposed for amendment to read as follows:

 

Article VIII - Committees

 

Section 4: Standing Committees

 

            The Council shall have two standing committees: (1) Planning and Funding and (2) Landmark Tree.  The Planning and Funding Committee shall have seven members.  The Landmark Tree Committee shall have five members.   The Planning and Funding Committee shall meet on the third Thursday of each month from 4:15 pm to 5:45 pm, in City Hall, Room 421, San Francisco. The Landmark Tree Committee shall meet monthly on the 2nd Tuesday at 4:00 p.m., in City Hall, Room 421 in San Francisco.  This information shall be posted on SF Environment’s website.  Meetings will be rescheduled in case of a City recognized holiday.
