*The Tuesday, August 23, 2011 Urban Forestry Council Meeting has been rescheduled from its original location of San Francisco City Hall, Room 416, to the Offices of the San Francisco Planning Department at 1650 Mission Street, Conference Room 528.

The next meeting of the Urban Forestry Council is scheduled for Friday, September 23, 2011 at 8:30 a.m. at City Hall, Room 400.
At this time, members of the public may address the Council on items of interest that are within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Council but are not on today’s agenda. Public comment will be taken following each agendized item. Each member of the public may address the Council for up to three minutes, unless otherwise announced by the Chair. If it is demonstrated that the comments by the public will exceed 15 minutes, the Chair may continue Public Comment to another time during the meeting.
The Brown Act forbids the Council from taking action or discussing any item or issue not appearing on the posted agenda. This rule applies to issues raised in public comment as well. In response to public comment, not on an agendized item, the Council is limited to:
1. Briefly responding to statements made or questions posed by members of the public, or
2. Request staff to report back on a matter at a subsequent meeting, or
3. Directing staff to place the item or issue on a future agenda (Government Code Section 54954.2(a).)
The Urban Forestry Council meeting will be held at the Offices of the San Francisco Planning Department, 1650 Mission Street, 5th Floor, Conference Room 528, San Francisco, CA 94103. The Council meeting room is wheelchair accessible. The closest accessible BART stations are the Civic Center Station at 8th (at the United Nations Plaza) and Market Street and 16th at Mission Street. Accessible MUNI/Metro lines servicing this location are the, 42 - Downtown, 14 & 14 Limited - Mission, and F - Market bus lines. For information about MUNI accessible services call (415) 923-6142. Accessible curb side parking spaces have been designated on Mission and Otis Streets. There is accessible parking available within the Department of Building Inspection parking lot. The entrance to this lot is on Otis Street.
