NOTICE OF PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE BYLAWS OF

THE SAN FRANCISCO URBAN FORESTRY COUNCIL

TO BE ACTED UPON AT THE REGULAR MEETING OF OCTOBER 25, 2011 at 6:00 P.M.

This notice is issued pursuant to Article XI – Amendment of Bylaws of the San Francisco Urban Forestry Council requiring circulation of proposed amendments in writing to all Council Members and noticed to the public at least ten (10) days prior to such meeting.  The Urban Forestry Council will discuss and vote on amending “Article VIII – Committees, Section 4 –Standing Committees, to change the meeting schedule of Urban Forestry Council Planning and Funding Committee meetings as follows:

 

Article VIII – Committees

 

Section 4: Standing Committees

 

The Council shall have one standing (1) Planning and Funding Committee and one Ad Hoc committee (2) called the Landmark Tree Committee.  The Landmark Tree Committee shall have five members and shall meet as needed on the second Tuesday of the month, in City Hall, Room 421, San Francisco. The Planning and Funding Committee shall have five members and shall meet on the third Thursday first Monday of each month from 4:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. starting at 4:00 p.m. with the exception of November.  There will not be a meeting in November.  The Committee shall meet in City Hall, Room 421, San Francisco. A notice and agenda for the Planning and Funding Committee meeting will be posted at least 72 hours before the meeting.  A notice for the Landmark Tree Committee meeting will be posted 15 days before the meeting and an agenda will be posted at least 72 hours before the meeting. This information shall be posted on the Department of the Environment’s website.
